Impact of COVID-19: Healthcare perspective

Dr. Carmine Simone

Dr. Carmine Simone is a thoracic surgeon and the interim Vice President of Clinical programs at the Michael Garron Hospital (MGH) (formerly the Toronto East General Hospital) located in East York, 15 minutes east of downtown Toronto. He completed his term as the Head of the Division of Critical Care and Medical Director of the Intensive Care Unit at Michael Garron Hospital in 2012, and his term as Chief of Surgery in 2020. In January 2019 Dr. Simone became the Medical Director of Integrated Programs between Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and MGH.
